Chapter 1: Jacob

"Yeah, what are we supposed to do, kill Edward?" Paul said, i thought about it for a while
"Priestley" i said and made a wicked grin
"Huh"
"Be prepared"
"Yeah, be prepared, for what?" said Jared
"for the death of the king"
"Is he sick?" said Embry
"No fool, we're gonna kill him"
"Great idea, who needs a king?" Jared said
"There will be a king, i will be king"
the next day i warned Edward that kopa, Edward's lion cub, was in a gorge were a stampede was. He and i raced down there. Edward caught sight of kopa on a tree. He ran into the stampede and i took my place on the ledge were i would throw Edward off.
He got kopa safely on a rock, but Edward fell back into the stampede. He threw himself onto the edge of the gorge. he climbed up, but when he asked me for help, i just grabbed his paws and threw him back into the stampede. He was dead. I ran to Bella and told her what had happened, leaving out the part that it was me who killed him. She cried.
